Hi all
I just wanted to find out, is there an IP address on the Drifta thing. I use Wifi for internet so when I connect to Drifta I lose my internet. I support the drifta acts as a Wifi peer. If not my only option I suppose is to stick in the usb cable which I lost a while back.

thanks you all

why not try changing the wireless channel on your router

The cable is a standard mini-USB cable, they are cheap and readily available.

Maybe use an additional wifi dongle to connect to two wifi networks simultaneously?

thanks Jola, I suppose it's either getting the mini-usb or dongle then. Maybe the usb is a better option that adding more dongles.

isie I hope I had kinda explained well my predicament, but how is changing the wireless channel going to work? will it join the networks i.e. my WIFI and the Drifta?

That won't fix anything. Your iPhone (like most other wi-fi devices) can only be connected to one wireless network at a time, hence dropping the connection to the router when you connect to the drifta. The drifta Sets up it's own "network"
Also keep in mind that the USB cable is for watching the drifta on a pc/laptop and not the phone.
