Drifta losing channels - rescan not working

My Drifta is going faulty.

It connects to my iPhone as it did before but then tells me that there are no channels available. This in an area that I received signal before. I try the rescan which also fails.

Software on iPhone is updated to latest.

Any ideas ?
 
I have also had some very weird problems with my Drifta...One day it works on my IPad, then the next it won't. If I then try to connect via my IPhone, it works immediately.

What I normally do, is switch off the WiFi on the IPhone or IPad & close the DSTV application using the Double-Click Home button function. Then hard reset the Drifta with a Paper Clip & then re-enable WiFi on the Apple devices. This normally sorts it out. You can also just switch off your IPhone until you have hard reset the Drifta.

In addition, you can also re-authorise the Drifta from the following URL:
- http://drifta.dstvmobile.com/activation

This also helps sometimes.

Finally, remember that some of the channels are only active @ certain times. Trying to connect to a channel which isn't broadcasting will fail.
