Hi Guys

Does anybody know any "drive ins" that still operate in Johannesburg. I'm in the east rand area but don't mind driving far. Haven't been to one of these in a couple years. I wanna try something different then going to the usual Numetro or sterkinekor.

R65 per car and you get to see 2 movies. Also includes free Menlyn parking ticket.

Really enjoyable. Take camping chairs and sit outside. Or even better, if you have a bakkie throw a mattress on the back with some pillows and a blanket. Then reverse the bakkie into the parking bay.

We went again last week. First movie was Turbo and the 2nd was We're the Millers.

There are also 2 takeaway places for food, drinks and popcorn.

EDIT: Go very early and have a walk around the mall. There is an entrance to the mall from the parking bays.
