Drive-through at fast food outlets question

This happens often with us as well, especially at Nando's. When we say we will wait at the window, we get the order nearly immediately.

This is our experience as well. When we park, it takes forever to get your order.

I usually tell them I came to a drive through, not a park through - that usually gets my order done

Usually only happens to us if we complicate the order, although we very seldom eat take-aways - and usually find it quicker going in store than sitting in a drive through.

Ja clearly blocking the queue gets their attention.

A stoopid idea to call this sort of measurement a KPI and even more crazy if th staff can game the result.
