Why am I the only one hooting at the rubberneckers in front of me looking at the accident on the other side of the highway?

We need them to keep moving and stop wasting peoples time.

I have been stuck for 4 hours in the congestion already. I will take my 30 seconds and see what the commotion was all about.

I have used my hooter so few times in my entire life that if I put my mind to it, I could probably recall all of them!

There is no need to use a hooter for baseless reasons. It should be reserved for REAL emergencies when it is necessary to call someone's attention to something that is happening or about to happen. The outcome is that the value of having a hooter in a vehicle is now completely lost as no one bothers to take any notice whatsoever.
