I had an interesting discussion with a friend who brought up DRM . One area of it that caught my attention was his claim that nobody has cracked it for WMV files . He said if you have the licence you can remove the protection but if you don't you're stuffed.

Have the pirates and hackers finally been defeated by Microsoft . They say everything can be "broken" but according to him this is not true.

So is he talking cr@p or not?

its crackable.. and there is a public app to do it..... SkyMovies disabled their movie service due to this crack. (its back online now)

Well nothing I have seen has been affected by DRM yet, so I would think it is possible.

The hackers still hack all the DVD's and CD's that are out. What definitely has DRM protection? Should be able to find it on the internet to download and find out.
