Has anybody used a DroidTab? http://www.iloveandroid.co.za/ seems to be selling variations of it quite cheaply. Although tempted, I'm put off by 256MB RAM on a tablet and a resistive screen.

There is the Droidtab 10 which has a better processor and 512 RAM and a 10" screen for R200 more
Who makes these? Some Chinese manufacturer? No 3G is a deal-breaker for me. Il just keep using my DHD. Its more powerful than all of these...lol

If I wanted a cheap tablet badly I'd go for the Archos 101. It's pretty crappy as well but has some decent hardware inside and a capacitive multi-touch screen.
What's "crappy" about the archos 101?

Basically very low build quality. You get what you pay for.
This (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2375016,00.asp) is unfortunate though.
