Every year I finally get it together to log into my isp and check the price of my existing package. I'm on vumatel... I think it's 150 less than what I'm currently paying. They don't auto apply the new fee, I have to do it manually. I'm on a 50/50 uncapped

It's listed on the product page without entering my address so yeah if you have Vuma. It used to be promotional area based. I know they started with increasing prices and dropping these lower packages but they seem to be reintroducing them at a lower price point now.

Got Openserve 500/250 through Cool Ideas just over 2 years ago - R1399pm.
2 years later, R10 cheaper at R1389. No free upgrades so still the same speed.

Atleast it hasn't gone up I guess?

Entry speed packages for fibre to the home should be sufficient for most people, not?

The cheaper the better.

Doing good on a 20/20 best effort LTE Vodacom Black Friday deal from a few years ago for less than R300 still, 400GB day + 400GB night rollover type for night only probably.

Took the LTE deal, and cancelled Vumatel at that stage.

And moved house recently and just took the Vodacom LTE deal Huawei B535 router with,and plugged in again at new location.

No sweat. All Good.

So enter your address and come back to us .... they've completely changed the way the site gives you packages it seem .... they first want your blood type before displaying packages.

Essentially those on the lower tier had their speeds doubled for the same amount.
Prices will never go down but you get more bang for buck than before.
