Hi Guys

I have a question here

I am busy leveling a druid he is 67 now

I am on a PVP server so there is quite a fare amount of ganking going on which come with the territory this druid is pretty strong and can take on most classes

Last night this 65 Pally snuck up on me and killed me so I tried and I tried and I could not kill this guy

I would stealth behind him pounce shred mangle rip even with beserk enabled before I could FB him he would shield and kill me.

What's the strat to take one of these guys out or are Pallys that over powered

as a warrior with some stance dancing between defence and battle stance i can do some damage to a paladin
with shattering throw to remove bubble and interrupts about the only viable tactic for me
i find paladins horribly frustrating in a 1v1 fight altho i hardly ever pvp
its mostly just an anti-gank strategy, stun interrupt shattering throw ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun
id go with theyre just overpowered in 1v1

Yea, Paladin's Plate + their ability to heal & regain Mana at an awesome rate keeps them alive. My alt is a 72 paladin, leveling is a ****ing breeze...

One thing though, after the new patch, you can't bubble and then within 3 min use LoH to regain health.

You might want to try and switch to bear do demoralizing/lacerate and then switch to cat and bump up the DoT

Reckon you'd be able to do that much easier on higher levels though because my DPS sucked at 67

While leveling pallies are pretty strong yes. 1vs1 against quite a few classes they pretty op, but pvp is not balanced on 1vs1 thou.

I can also say that feral druids are doing pretty good in pvp @ 80 atm. Specially when you team with a rogue.

Key against plate users is bleeds, as it ignores the armour of the target. So don't FB him unless you know it will kill him.
I don't pvp as feral atm, but if you ask me now I'd say get him to bubble asap and avoid him while its up, heal full etc etc and try again.

You need to make proper use of shadowmeld, restealth, bearform (and its abilities), cyclone, root etc to have a chance.

I have a 56 pally atm and tbh its retarded easy to kill someone 1 on 1, thats if you have your CD's (Bubble & LOH)

I got ganked today twice by a freeken stealthed drood. Pissed me off... the bugger would only attack when I was engaged with another mob or two. Making sure I was at my weakest. I would be on 40% life and he would just use all his cd`s on me when I wasnt expecting him. I think I could take them if they didnt have stealth.

I spent ages hunting him, but he was a coward and stayed hidden.

Im honestly thinking about carrying some a spare armor set around with me so I can quickly switch into a shamatank with lots of defense, strength and dodge.

Stop caring about 1v1 balance. The game is not balanced around 1v1. Classes with massive defensive cool downs, exceptional CC or strong survivability will always beat you. Also 1v1 as a feral unless you have pretty decent gear you're going to have issues jumping most plate classes. Before you get cyclone you're a bit of a 1 trick pony, either burst something down or stun it and run away. At 70 stuff gets a bit better as you get cyclone and can just reset fights if it's going badly for you.

Yeah I my main goal here is to level but you get the odd irritating alliance that is questing in the same place and thinks he has the right to kill you I disagree

In the past I always kept the peace and ignored the alliance but they would eventually attack me so now if its red its dead well in the case of the pally if its read he will kill me :)

I had a 70 druid a while ago on the US servers before I moved to the EU before linch King I found that its such a pleasure playing a druid now everything works well they are 100% better than they were in BC

Being able to take pots in bear backskin works in all forms can insta shift forms and even at 67 my burst damage is huge with beserking or tiger fury

Its trully a great fun toon to play

Will have to dual a few more Pallys but I think they will always be difficult that dam bubble is irritating they should nerf it like the nerfed Warlocks fear

if use LoH or bubble in a fight with my pala, it feels like i am cheating and therefor i normaly avoid using them if i can. but i guess cooldowns are there to be used.

What is a good Feral Rotation for high DPS? I struggle to get my DPS High on my cat ^_^

I think what bugs me most about paladins isnt even the bubble. It's that stupid cleanse.
Snares/slows just don't seem to bloody work. I wish i had a fear effect on my DK. It's the only bloody way you can get one of those annoying pieces of crap off you.

Feral DPS doesn't have a rotation. It's more of a priority list. When one timer expires you have to refresh it. I start off with Mangle, Rake, Savage Roar, Shred to 5cp and then Rip.

Get the addon Feral By Night. It shows the timers for all of your abilities and CD's, and what move you should use next. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for 3.3 yet, but it still works. Only bug I found was when I changed to cat form while in resto spec and targeting something. It has to do with not having Mangle.

Been playing a pally since day 1, and I can say the following. If the pally was a tank spec (10 to 1 he was since it is easy to grind mobs, quick to get random grps etc, any other spec wont level as fast, I myself rerolled and did lvl 34 - 46 in 1 1/2 days), and you being feral, chances of actually beating him are very slim. With the avoidance a pally can stack, you will miss too much to actually make any dents in him.

Back in TBC, I would laugh at all the 70 rouges, cats and any other melee class trying to hit me whilst I had 110% avoidance. They basically took more damage from my reflective abilites than what they did to me.

You want to beat a pally, u need range, pallies suck at range dps, having exorcism on a 9 sec cooldown (I think it is 9s, not sure), and hope he is not a healer, as he will outheal whatever u throw at him. A pally with no mana is a dead pally. Dont go for high dps etc, just irritate him so he needs to burn his mana, once he is out of mana, you win.
