DS Lite ordered

While we are on the cheating topic. Anyone know if the Xploder DS cheat save system will work on the DS lite?
 
I won the new Crimson Red and Black DS Lite with BrainAge 2 from eBay last week. Should arriving by the end of this week or early next week.

Heard lots about this little handheld. Hope it's fun!
 
Damn, you lucky nuyork! My copy of Brain Age 2 should be arrive late next week some time from Take 2.

You are lucky to have won the Black DS lite. Not many people has that colour. Black obviously doesn't show dirt as fast as white, but it will show some finger print marks on the outside.

I have a black DS lite (Recieved mine the day it arrived in South Africa for the first time :D)
and it irritated me that there was always finger print marks on the outside, so i bought my self a skin for my DS lite. Looks rather cool now

If Core supply all Nintendo hardware in the future, will our internationally bough consoles warranties be honoured here?
Or will we have to send it back to the US for repairs.

I have no idea, but I think you will have to send your Internationally bought consoles back to the US for repairs.
 
Bought mine (hasn’t arrived yet) from WantItAll, maybe I will have a local warranty because of the local invoice of WantItAll
 
Well I'm sure once Nintendo is actually supported in South Africa, that there will be some designated repair place? Like ICSS (hate that place) or somewhere that can repair hardware.

I hope that if my Wii (bought from the US) or DS Lite (also from US) breaks or need to be repaired that I can take it into a repair shop to get fixed. The parts should be the same right???

I can understand that the warranty will not be honored here in South Africa. But paying for a small repair, must be cheaper than buying a whole new unit?

I agree 100% with you. I've had my DS for over a year now, and even the touch screen still looks great. Only a few small scratches (you realy have to look very closely to see them).

Does anyone have Pokemon Pearl/Diamond. I would like some feed back from users before I buy it for myself
 
mmm. pokemon, not my cup of tea..... Bit shallow after the more involving RPG's on PC.

There was a thread about it, iirc, lord_spaceman created it. He seemed to like it a lot.

Pokemon Pearl roxxors my soxxors off!!! That game is the shizznizzz 'yo!

I've invested over 50 hours into it and still going strong. Even if you ain't a Pokemon fan, I highly suggest you give it a try. There is a reason it's the top selling game on DS and Japan. Ignore the crappy cartoon stigma attached to the series and all previous games, this one is by far the best.
 
OK cool, will check it out. But if I get Pokemon Pearl, I think it will be worth it to get a Wii and Pokemon Battle Revolution. Saw a YouTube video, it looks great
