DSTV 2010 price increase Poll - Please vote

I've seen way worse increases this year than a meagre 6%. Imagine if it was in-line with electricity?

Who? Me?

No, I setup a debit order and it goes every month like clockwork.

We just changed from a normal one to multi view and HD thingy and for three months after changing they werew stuffing up the debit order. Then they decided to terminate the account, we had someone else cancel our subscription.. and everytime they bill us double or 3 Times. I can only imagine the chaos if you try this... :)

Like the pipeline they want to upgrade and asked for an increase, that is going to affect our petrol..

It is R30 people. FFS.
It is less than inflation, and it is R30 ffs (repeated on purpose).

Sheesh.

It is R30. FFS.

What's there to get a statement for? The price doesn't fluctuate like the price of petrol.

It only goes up once a year without fail. The CEO will send a standard form letter to eveyone saying they can expect so much more, and these are exciting times and we're going to rip you another arsehole, so get over it.

Sounds like it was definitely a boo boo from Multichoice's call centre agent...

I've had DStv for 12 years and I've never had a problem with billing, but I can imagine if you change something on your account, it could create chaos

edzachary my point, the price remains constant for 12 months

Really you want to protest over something that hasn't gone up since 2008? It is R35 for PVR users, please if you cannot afford that extra a month then I don't know.
