Hi,
DSTV on the 28th september sent me an SMS "We recieved your payment and reconnected DSTV"
Now, I dont have DSTV, I havent had a TV for more than a Decade.
I initially though this was just a crossed message in error meant for someone else but somehow was sent to my number.
But today I recieved another more worrying SMS, "Your Next debit order is on 28/10...."
I went through my Bank account statement an noticed that on the 28th September I was charged R137 from M-CHOICE
How is that possible, I dont have a DSTV or Multichoice account?
Im am going around in many circles trying to sort this out as you just cannot contact DSTV unless you have an account, I dont have one, so I cannot reach anyone at DSTV to remove this, perhaps I need to Contact my BANK and register a FRAUD complaint?
Has anyone else recently had something like this happen? how did you resolve it?
