Dstv Decoder red and green lights flashing

Hi, i need assistance with my dstv standard decoder...the red and green lights are constantly flashing with picture...i have tried switching off at main plug...30 sec wait....i have read somewhere about the N0-0B problem...can i have the same problem....your assistance will be much appreciated

Which model decoder?

You may have to switch off the decoder, remove the SC and clean the contacts, re-insert and try and see if it will start up.

Had the same problem. It was the power supply. Bought a new one and problem solved.

There is nothing you can do yourself, take it to a Multichoice service centre.

Or if it is still under warrantee take it back to the store you purchased it from.
Can't help further here.
