DSTV Drifta

My drifta only connects every 2O attempts to samsung 7' tab, connects everytime to iphone. Contacted dstv escalated to senior tech, he was stumped, been referred to next level tomorrow. Have tried everything suggested. Anyone else having similar problem with sumsang

The DSTV allows you to double up that size... but you will already notice a drop in quality. Going fullscreen is going to mean it's barely watchable.

Same problem with the Samsung 7" tab - it was working fine before I was asked to do a tab firmware upgrade about two weeks ago.:erm: This must be a bug that needs to be sorted - not sure if Samsung or Multichoice needs to escalate this one. When it does work (after many attempts) it looks great ! The signal must be very robust - I have the drifta in the study and watch all over the house :) Cheers

Also had this problem, so I side loaded the unofficial version. Works fine.

Thought the market identification was messed up because i'm on a custom ROM. My theory was the phone was broadcasting the model as "HTC Desire" instead of "Desire".

What are Froyo phones identified as in the market?

So, on which models of Samsung tablets, is the Drifta natively supported on, currently ... ?

My contract is expired and it might be worthwhile to renew it in such a fashion that I can get a tablet for watching sport on ...
 
Anybody know if Drifta is compatible with 2nd Gen iPod touch? Also, if there is anybody selling an iPod touch, let me know please. Cape Town area only. I'm also willing to swap my Siemens cordless house phone for one.

My firewall is blocking my drifta. Which settings should be open for drifta to work
Esset fire wall, drifta via usb

It's more likely a signal problem - best take everything to a multichoice centre and let them have a look.
 
Not a signal problem. It is working fine on my one pc but on laptop it does not work is firewall is activated. Disabling the firewall causes it to work again.

I still think its best to ask M/C about this or try windows own firewall instead and dump the other one - its obviously too agressive.
 
Anyone got the drifta to work with the HTC Wildfire S? I'm battling to get it to work

Wish they had a rep here, as registering for (another) forum for support or one off questions is rather annoying. Don't they know that most other tech companies offer customer service to savvy users on MyBB?

I have the same problem ( I think ) as my device does not get picked up on my main windows / internet installation, I have two other windows installations on my HD where the drifta works but I don't use those for any other work. And random PC's at work may or may not detect the drifta.
