Anyone having this issue just randomly occur since yesterday? Nothing has changed in the setup, multichoice checked the decoder and confirmed nothing is wrong with it. Technical assistance helped reset the decoder and setup again but its constantly saying E42-38. When I check home network settings, I'm getting 2 full bars of signal, so signal cannot be the issue. Multichoice call centre say they are aware of the issue but cannot provide a proper solution other than a hard reset of the decoder, which doesn't resolve the issue, as it appears a few minutes later.
The setup is a simple one. 2 single view HD decoders (model 4u) with xtra view, connected to a smart LNB (UniCable point A to primary and B to secondary decoder). Setup has been working perfectly for a long time, but as of yesterday we are getting this issue. The secondary decoder shows full signal as well, so the LNB and connection clearly isn't the issue, nor are the decoders the issue. Anyone figured a solution or having the same problem?
