DSTV Easyview - Website is misleading advertising

The part above is what you see when you look at the DSTV website. It is misleading advertising. There is no 47 channels on this package. The audio channels have been stopped years ago but it is still being advertised. It is incredible they can change the premium to the new premium but not update the website.

Maybe we must ask the Advertising Standards Authority to have a look at this?

The reason why some people receive radio stations on Easyview and others not can be explained as follows. At one stage everybody received all the radio stations and also CNBC Africa (410). When you upgrade to a higher plan for lets say the rugby world cup for 2 weeks you are going to loose some channels when you move back to Easyview. My beef with Multichoice is that they dont warn you about it. You will only realize it when you try a channel after the change back.

:confused: I was on premium for years until I downgraded to easyview last March, so according your theory I shouldn't be receiving the radio channels I tested yesterday then?

That really sounds like a technical issue. Why would that happen? There must be technical explanation like a software upgrade, a flash reset or channel re-scan required. Rabidly opposed to MC but I just can't see how this is an ASASA issue sadly.

IIRC they removed it from the package around October / November 2012 - that's about 6 months before the OP posted his argument he lost those channels because he changed to premium for 2 weeks,not that those channels were taken out from easy view 6 months prior to hm moving to premium
