Surprised you guys aren't talking about this, perhaps cos it works properly and there's nothing to complain about?

They don't have DSTV so they're not interested. Wait for Netulu or Huflix to come with new features and expect 1000 threads.

Quite possibly because nobody has been stupid enough to buy one yet? I know there is no incentive for me to get one at 2500... its a ridiculous price

Got myself one. Two actually :). It's a quantum leap ahead of anything we currently have. I'd go as far as saying that MultiChoice has *undersold* all the new features embedded in the mew user interface. And before anyone asks, I have NetFlix too and an abundance of other content on XBMC. In the PVR department though, this is more than I expected. Can't wait for the internet access to be enabled. For now, there's a shed-load of good content "pushed" to the device. I've managed to cancel about 75% of my regular recurring recordings since most is now streamed to catchup. I know there's plenty of nay-sayers, and things could always have been done better, but if you experienced any of the previous generations of the PVR, including any of the HD PVRs, it won't take you more than 10mins of playing with this to realize that this decoder is in another league.

FTFY

I can confirm, they work beautifully. I've had a dev box running on our single cable equipment for some time. Also went for some moral support to one of my client's complexes today and we had zero issues. We sold out our stock in a day. One comeback, but it was not actually faulty. Just incompetence... The new software is great and only going to get better. No more 3rd party middleware!

Bruce Wane?

I see it's already listed as a compatible device for the Logitech Harmony.

Remote response is great, rewind & FFwd could not be smoother, works instantly perfectly! 10 second replay button is also very useful

The new software & remote takes a little getting used to if you are used to the old versions
