DSTV Explora no picture/sound

Hi,

Hoping someone can help.

I bought a new explora and have been using for about a month now.

The problem is that once every 4-5 days I will turn on the decoder and there is no picture or sound, just a black screen. All the program info works fine (TV guide, info box, etc). Just nothing else

I have to unplug at the mains and plug back in for it to work again. And as said, it only does this once every few days.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Check your signal?
 
Got similar story. Non PVR HD decoder often just goes blank, tv says no signal received on HDMI.
Resetting decoder normally fixes the issue, but today it's just staying black. Guess I'm off to Multichoice tomorrow...
