MultiChoice has announced a software update for the DStv Explora decoder which will roll out in the coming week

How about you fix your slow motion button!

Since "upgrading" from normal PVR to explorer I can no longer play stuff in slo-mo (great for that crunching tackle) - holding the play/pause button does nothing!

Its a pain, but it does work. You have to hold the play button for a loooong time... point it towards the decoder and keep holding the button - even if it jumps a few times between pausing and playing. Eventually it will change to slow-mo mode.

Held it for about 20 secs - logo kept appearing briefly and eventually stayed.

Well, it must have been pot luck the first time

Trying now and I got tired of holding the button

This time it's a PVR recording when the first time was live TV, so don't know if that has any weight, but still, life shouldn't have to be like this... :erm:
