DStv Extra Stream price and limits explained

All the subscription services are feeling the pinch and are trying to find ways to eek out a little extra from the consumer. What they fail to realise is that the piracy option becomes more attractive to their customer the more they do this which will ultimately hurt their business in the long run. When DSTV fails I'm sure plenty on this site will be happy to let them know this.

After last night I'm done.

Started watching the football on my chromebook, first tried the android app, but was just too buggy (green bar constantly showing up at the bottom, stuttering and buffering like crazy), then directly from the website, and still had the same buffering issues, pathetic streaming quality. At about 25 mins into the game I started streaming from another "source", and the stream was perfect in HD, with absolutely no issues.

I'll probably downgrade to DSTV access or something just to keep my account active, but there are much better ways to watch any sport you need without DSTV.

No need to have a DSTV sub to keep your account active, you can just resubscribe at a later date if you really need DSTV again.

I fully agree, you don't need DSTV to watch sports.
