DSTV HD PVR not picking up all channels

Okay. On the front panel, hold in TV Guide button for 5 seconds. Release and press Shift - Exit - Okay in quick succession. A green screen, asking for a PIN, will come up. On the remote, enter 1649. In the list, there will be an option for Restore Factory Settings. Do the restore (be carefull not to wipe HDD ). It will rescan and should be fine...

You be the man thanks alot it worked like a charm!!!

Just as a side note to other potential users of this useful information from quantum. It has to be from the front panel. I was a tool and was trying to do it on the remote for I realised that it said the front panel.
