DSTV HD PVR

I have the DSTV HD PVR with a Sony LCD but the last couple of days the signal just disappears. When watching any channel, the screen will just go black and after a few seconds everything will go back to normal. If I just turn off the decoder and turn it back on again everything is also back to normal. My brother says the other day when it was a bit cooler it didn't happen, so don't know if it is the extreme heat that is affecting the decoder?

Anyone else with similar problems?

The decoders do get VERY hot.. how is the ventilation around the decoder?

Not that great, and it was extremely hot here over the weekend, so I also think that is the problem.

No error message on the tv or decoder for that period?

Make sure that the decoder has the latest software version.
