ok, next question....I can't find the difference between a RF splitter and a multiswitch. What is the difference between the two?....does the latter have some signal BOOST or what....? I mean, its an RF cable that comes from the LNB...

Not RF from the LNB... it's IF... and a multi-switch can switch between polarities. Hence multi-SWITCH.
