Dstv hd tv tuner card solution?

Hi guys, does anyone know of a TV-tuner card (or setup) that could serve instead of a DSTV HD PVR... I would rather spend the money on my media centre PC, than DSTV's **** hardware.

Else if u know of any setup to record HD from DSTV on my media centre PC?

Your help is much appreciated!

You will need to strip the HDCP from the HDMI signal....

You will still need the HDPVR no matter what you do ultimately...
 
Its possible..

I've seen it done, and know how to do it.. but its not easy or cheap, not by a LONG shot.
