Hi all
Has anybody had this issue with their DStv Now account being blocked, and unable to sign in for no apparent reason?
It happened once, I contacted Multichoice, and they recreated the account from scratch, and as it's a new account it then logged out of all instances. This instance is only now used on a iPad via the Safari web browser, as it's an older iPad, and there are some issues with loading the DStv app.
Two days later it happened again, with me not being able to log in.
Contacted Multichoice again, who this time insisted the account hadn't been blocked, but the password wasn't working, so a password reset solved this.
A day later access was again revoked. Password resetting didn't work, so contacted Multichoice again who again said abnormal activity was again detected so the account was blocked.
Only one device was logged in, so no streaming limits were reached.
I am at my wits end with this now. It seems Multichoice wants to enforce streaming via their app. Even though it works via Safari, it seems Multichoice picks it up as abnormal activity, and blocks the account which is shocking, and unacceptable.
It's actually these kind of things which make me want to cancel my subscription, which I pay over R1k a month for, and go back to using alternative IPTV methods.
Can anyone please advise.
Thanks
I give Multichoice the benefit of the doubt, the doubt, and they essentially accuse me something, I don't know what by disabling my account.
