DStv launches a new decoder

I just bought an explora this weekend. R1279 special at house and home. Need to break it and trade it in on warranty now

No way. My father in law was given one of those TiVo things by the TV provider

only reason i ask, well to be honest i was being sarcastic. It shows how far behind the times Multichoice/DSTV are.

having a look,

Why? Didn't you win one during that Kalahari Huawei promo?
Farken hell Greg. You remember things that far back?!!! I think you evil eyed that explora.

I gave it to my bro for bday present.

Just bought this one for me on Saturday

So they're trying to turn it into a Roku.

Great idea with the Showmax button too. Will make DSTV subricribers that have never heard of the service ask questions about it now.

But can it play content on a plugged in hard drive?

I took a look and there is no offer for 44 quid a month, there is one for 47 which is the sports bundle, but if you want sport + movies + music + kids + entertainment it's 80 pounds a month, so it's 1360 not R748
