OK I know the norm is to link with cable but my flat is pretty far from the house.
Is it possible to link my xtraview to the flat via a wireless link using something like 5GHz Dual Feed Dish Antenna on both sides?
Any help or ideas work be highly appreciated.

No.

That is a option, but I would need to dig through my parking asphalt :(

The heart beat cable does not like anything >20m apart. Been there, done that

Your best bet would be to put thr two decoders next to each other and use a wireless av transmitter with rf relay for changing channels. Keep in mind that the wireless AV transmitter does not like a lot of walls in between the sender and receiver.

Apple TV, PC or Android TV Box + SuperSport & DStv Now app = Sorted. Granted, it's streaming but it will work.

You have a number of options.

1. Run coax from the decoder to the flat. Use the RF signal (ie RF Out on decoder). You might need an RF amp to boost the signal. You can also use a remote blaster to use your remote in the flat. Lowest quality but cheapest solution.

2. If your Xtraview decoder has HDMI, run a Cat6 cable from decoder to flat and get HDMI-over-Cat6 transmitter & receiver from HDI Cabling. Various remote blaster options are available.

3. If the flat and house are on a common phase, use the electrical cabling to distribute the HDMI over power line. This is not cheap. The only one that works properly is the HD Juicebox, which you'll have to import from the UK.

If I convert HDMI to CAT6 can I run it to my router and link my other router in the flat to it with me receiver on the other end?

As of Aug 2014 I had tried every single wireless system available in SA (for HDMI). They all work fine in the same room or through a thin wall. Not a single one reached my stoep through 3 double brick walls.

I was not referring to that, the decoders can be next to each other, lay co ax cable to the flat with a tv link, that does work.
