DSTV mobile drifta problems

I was very excited regarding this new service from Multichoice, got me an HD PVR and DISH kit yesterday and took the package which included a mobile drifta, thinking that I could watch the rugby games at work. The HD PVR works great, but after spending almost 1h30 min on the phone over two days with MC, they still cannot figure out the problem with the DRIFTA? To be honest I am seriously disappointed, as I will miss the opening game of the rugby world cup. Not to mention my phone bill.... It just seems no one knows what could be wrong, the error message I get is service is currently scrambled....AT the moment I want my money back, the service obviously does not work or is not ready for the South African infrastructure...To be honest I don't have the time/patience to struggle with these things, multichoice better step it up...

Any advice for what can be done to get it to work....
 
mine is fine. Send a complaint on twitter, they are quite quick there to follow up.
 
I can't quite remember, but i think it has to be activated by them.

Did they activate yours? Else you'll just get the "scrambled" message
 
I am watching it fine at my desk as well.

The service needs to be linked to your existing subscription and can take a while to activate. Its not an instant thing.

Try rebooting the device by removing the batter and "re-pair" the device with your laptop, ios device etc
