Does anyone know where I can buy a RF modulator for a DSTV decoder?

I've got one of those really cheap decoders which only has AV connectors which is fine for the main TV but I have no way of getting DSTV in the bedroom.

I know there are a few ways to do this, but I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest way to achieve this and I figured as I already have coax cable running to the other set for the aerial I might as well use it.

Can these units be used for PC AV too? Where did you buy it?

I have a PC upstairs, and a wide screen 30" LCD TV downstairs.
How would I be able to connect the PC to the LCD screen (without physically moving it)? I would buy wireless keyboard and mouse for downstairs, but I don't want to waste my money.

USB cable length is restricted, so can't do that.
So, effectively, I will need the following transferred from my PC to my living room:
PC VGA
PC Audio
Keyboard
Mouse

Possible??

edit: Sorry, this post is a bit off-topic... i'll create a new thread.

Any of the Multichoice outlets should have it as well, but definitely *not* for R60

I went directly to MNet in randburg and they didn't know what I was talking about.

theDoc : Are you in JHB and if so can you remember what the name of the store is etc?

Go to HiFi corp and get the Samsat one, its about R220. I use it to split the DVD player to about 5 TVs in my house.

I am in Mossel Bay - bought it off a store called Omnitron, can go in tomorrow to see if they have some more in stock and advice...

Edit - works really well, quality is nice.

A quick, cheap method would be to run the AV from the decoder into your VCR. You wouldnt be able to watch a video and DSTV at the same time but it works.

Yip thought about this but my VCR doesn't have stereo audio.........I guess it doesn't really make that much of a difference though.

Also not keen on having to leave the VCR on all the time ( Have not idea why! )

You don't normally get stereo from rf unless you have a nicam tv and the rf signal has nicam stereo. I seriously doubt you will find a cheap nicam rf modulator so you might aswell use the vcr. It's rf modulator might be better quality than a cheap one anyways.
