Ok so my landlord has gone away for the hols and said I could change DSTV. On my TV I get the feed from both DSTV outputs, but when I try change channels on the remote I'm only changing one of the outputs - how the F do I change the second channel? Is there a way to do it on the decoder itself?

Thanks

On yr remote there is TV1 and TV2.
U will see this as a seconday tittle (like on yr keyboard u have the #1 as primary and ! as secondary or 2 and @ or 3 and #... U would use shift key to get the secondary)
So there is a button that is used to activate the secondary titles.
Play around - cant remember (excuse the explanation - i find it difficult to explain things).

There is a shift button bellow the power button at the top of the remote. The power button is white and the shift button is greenish.

Press the shift button then press the Exit button. It is on the right hand side of the remote, above the circular button cluster in the middle of the control.

To change back, press the shift button and then the Information button to the top-left of the circular button cluster.

Those remotes are for single view decoders in xtra view. Sounds like he's got the SD PVR, which will have a dial on the remote...
