DSTV not showing Full Screen

I had an issue with my decoder over the weekend and it looks like some settings were reset.
I'm not getting a full picture on my projector screen now -it looks like 4:3.
However in another room on a tv the picture is wide screen. How can I correct this?
Using shfit + ARC doesn't help

I'm no expert, but that sounds like a setting on your projector to me.

Just make sure you have the decoder code on hand. You will have to change it from 4:3 to 16:9
Had to do the same on my father's DSTV decoder. Keep the number as if there is a power off it will default again.

Also make sure your projector is not set to automatically adjust the picture.
Might conflict with your decoder settings.
