DSTV Now Android Update Sep 2019

Today dstv did an update on the dstv now app that renders all older versions obsolete. Even die old 1.42.6 apk that still worked on uncertified devices. Big surprise for those that bought bargain tv boxes that had dstv now 'pre-installed'

It also broke functionality on my certified Lit Box. Catch up doesn't work anymore. Trust DStv to mess up an update.

So how does one remedy this because my dstvnow app on my laptop doesn't want to play anything...error message something went wrong on their side

Guess the Mi boxes will be out of stock soon.

I sideloaded 2.2.10 on my doctored android firmware 'certified' tv box and it works fine.

Luckily kodi addon still works, touch wood

dstv now app on your laptop? Are you using an android emulator like bluestacks / nox? Else have happens in a browser window?

No, loaded on chrome. Login via chrome that is.

Yeah just tried on my desktop, their web streams seam to be down but the app still works.
Getting "DStv Now is temporarily unavailable as something unexpected went wrong."

I have the latest version. I'll check tonight if it is working. Maybe it was a problem on DStv's side.
