DSTV Now app - poor streaming quality

When inside the Dstv Streaming app, the Streaming quality can be set, their is 5 streaming quality settings. My Lte modem can do 8.8mb/sec and i could get away with the 2 nd highest streaming quality.

Went to help a retirement village with theirs yesterday.
Seems to be a constant issue as they phone me virtually everytime they try to stream something.
Internet speed stable and Netflix works, but DSTV buffering.

my DSTV now keeps bombing out today.
I continually get this error. Stream plays for a bit then dies...
Anyone else having this problem?

DSTV streaming HD seems to be 480p WTF?

DSTV Now is a complete piss-taking cluster**** of an application.
Trying to stream the World Cup football in 1080p? No chance!
My 1GB fibre line is delivering stunning 480p! And this is the default on my PC.
I have NEVER been able to get 1080p quality on ANY sports broadcast.

Streaming via Mi-Box or directly to my SMART TV is better.
But I do a lot of watching at my desk.

And yes, I have the app set to maximum resolution etc etc.
If I were actually paying for the service I'd be REALLY pissed off....

Watching DSTV on my laptop and the quality is woeful on a 100Mbps line. Anyone managed to fix this?

No. Still crap on my PC and 100mbps line.
But lovely on my smart TV.
Must be optimised for TV somehow?

Some Supersport channels play but some have this message. Can't work it out. Oh & the stream quality is dreadful even with a decent internet connection.
