I cast it with my phone to the TV, Both my Huawei phones have always not worked, sound is good but no picture, I have an old A5 Samsung that works well with my Miracast dongle.

With their recent update the Samsung started behaving like the Huawei, just sound and no picture, I Uninstaller the app and got loaded the previous version, all fine again. I think lately there is some renewed vigour to frustrate streaming customers from MultiChoice.

Same on my end as well. Also using the MiBox

Using a 4k Hi sense 55" TV and using the DSTV app on the TV, the quality looks so bad though, I chose 1080P but doesn't look great at all compare to watching through a tv with an actual decoder, is there any reason for this maybe? Maybe because the other TV is strictly 1080P and my 4K tv makes it stretch so pixels look average?

It's just that youtube/netflix looks really good even if being streamed in 1080P. So also not sure if the bitrate for DSTV app is just terrible?
