DStv Now gets new features after ditching Flash

They are terrified of piracy, period.
What they need is a good klap!

I'm no multichoice fan, but can you not see the dumbness here? Why do they need a klap? Of course they are trying to protect their streams from piracy, do you think they are total idiots? Sport is a premium product these days, likewise original TV shows and movies. They pay a fortune for it. Do you think they are going to just give it away to the likes of you and me 'cos we think we have a right to it?

What are you on about? I pay for DStv Premium, I would like to watch it however I want to. I don't want to be restricted to a decoder and small screen. This is 2016 not 2000...

I replied in reference to Randy_The_Squirrels inference that multichoice "needed a klap" because of their fear of piracy. Perhaps I was misunderstood. I agree with your point.

They are keeping the streaming resolution low on purpose, guys.

As been said before, they want to handicap the pirates, but also want to prevent you from mirroring decent quality to your HD tv.

I couldn't stream while in the US, as it said I am only allowed to access the stream in a country where DSTV is available.
