DStv Now getting Chromecast support

Seems like some good news for features people have been asking for.
 
Yes, they replied to a few of us on the Android app on 4 November, to watch the space. I just hope they will allow it for content downloaded on mobile devices and not only for Live streaming. Most don't need to stream on their mobile when they are sitting in front of the Big TV at home. But, it is a great Android app that will be even better with Chromecast support. Apparently, Netflix is also busy with rights negotiations to allow mobile downloads in developing countries and there, I am sure, ChromeCasting will be included.
 
So it's been 3 months now, and still no Chromecast support added to the app.

I asked DSTV about it on Twitter and even linked to the original MyBB article, and this was their response:

It's bunch of bollocks. DStv will never allow Chromecasting or Airplay because they're scared *****less about login sharing.
 
At last! Saw this morning that Multichoice has quietly added Chromecast support to their DSTV Now app.

According to another thread they have added a 5 minute delay on the chromecast stream. Most likely aimed at the Super sport streamers and trying to discourage people using this method as their main way of watching sport....
