DSTV Now not showing all channels

Hi All

Hopefully someone has had this issue. I bought myself an Apple TV 4th gen and installed the DSTV now app. We are using our parents DSTV details as they only use the decoder. For some reason I log in fine but only get the free channels ie Channel 100 and 6 or so crap channels, not the normal DSTV now bouquet. Difficult to get parents to phone DSTV as they are old and not tech savvy so hoping there is another solution. I did register the Apple TV under the manage devices section on the app but this didn't fix anything.

Is there another authentication that needs to happen?

You will need to phone MC on their behalf. Get the details that MC will need - ID or Smartcard, address, mobile phone (if they have one), Telkom phone

Tell MC you are living in the same house, they get awkward if you tell them you don't live there

Its bureaucracy, but that's how it is

My father did not have a mobile phone and it was difficult explaining to the idiot on the other end that he did not have one, even though on their computer screen it said "NONE" for phone

Thanks Chris, I was hoping to avoid dealing with those MC brain farts but it is probably inevitable.

Exact same issue. Sorted me out in under 10 minutes. So wouldn't call them brain farts.

I didn't do anything. They sorted me out on their side.

Same here, actually chatted to them using the online chat, and in 5 mins sorted. Just said I do not have all the premium (package related) channels.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am having issues with dstv now. There is sound but no picture - just a black screen. Anyone else having this or know how to fix it?

I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it logged out and in but nothing works

Same problem. Even tried 2 different Dstv accounts but still no luck. Seems like a widespread issue on Samsung TV's.

Guys Im having a problem on my hisense vidaa smart tv ,the dstv now app does not show the live matches yet it shows the channels
