Dstv old sd pvr eye

I want to know if i can use the old eye on my explorer for another room.
What i have at the moment.
Exlorer main tv lounge
Ekstra tv in my bedroom with second decoder(can not pause rewind exct)
3rd bedroom no dstv or decoder.
Can i use the old eye to connect to the 3rd bedroom.? Can someone please help me?

I don’t think so, the SD PVR had 3 tuners buildin, so the “remote eye” was a feature to control the first 2 tuners (depending on the dial setting on the remote).

Look under the settings of the Explora, but I never saw that under the menus to enable that on the cable.

You can buy the remote extenders or one of those One for All remotes with the buildin extender feature.

So will it be posible to watch something else at tv 3 and not the same as tv 1?

It would have to be a “cloned/mirror view” of one of the 2 decoders.

The SD PVR was the last to support 2 viewing environments from one device.
