DStv dominates SABC and Openview

The latest Google Trends data shows that DStv enjoys a significant lead over its main competitors, SABC and Openview, in South Africa's traditional linear TV market.

Google Trends gives access to a largely unfiltered sample of search requests made to Google. This data can be requested for a specific country.

There should have been no comparison in the first place. But, then again, seeing DSTV's decline, no wonder they are now measured against the likes of SABC.

So the SABC and Openview is getting to that stage where they are seen as competitors? Wonder how it stacks if the statistics was Netflix, Prime, Apple TV & Disney+?
