DSTV outrageous prices!

Hi Guys,

If it is sport you crave, go and activate your subscription on DSTV's website on a Friday and de-activate it on Sunday.

I do this every weekend and have not paid more that +-R150 a month.

you can only upgrade twice and downgrade once if i am not mistaken

Do you call in or use the website?

Do you downgrade to easyview?

Can you check your statement?

I have tried this a few years ago and I was limited to only to upgrades and one downgrade a month. Not sure if you are able to do this now....

Decided to reactivate my DSTV account to get some sports and since I wanted supersport 2 I am forced to pay R600! Aren't there any cheaper ways to get this as the only channel I want is Supersport 2!

Get a drifta or walka, you get ss1,2,3 & 4. I was considering getting it but F1 is on ss6, and other live Epl games are on ss5 and 6 so not worth it for me.

Weighing up my options for uncapped within the next 2 months.

Yeah thats not an option.
Graphics are absolutely horrible on the drifta.

is it legal or illegal????

i know it works
This has been posted before - and yes it is illegal - IKS means Internet Key Sharing via GPRS SIM
It is reported to only work on DSTV signal on 36 degree - dunno about HD either.
You being in Lenasia can still get the 36 degree footprint - so let us know how it goes
