Decided to reactivate my DSTV account to get some sports and since I wanted supersport 2 I am forced to pay R600! Aren't there any cheaper ways to get this as the only channel I want is Supersport 2!

You know what... this is really simple: Everyone close their dstv subs in protest, until the pricing drops.

But godforbid you lot going without sport and tv and you wonder why you fail.

Why are you guys complaining? For that price remember you get billions of repeats, ****ty HD thats only really HD in sport, the movies suck oh and for a short time you get the OP channel :D

Fully support you here... I stopped my subscription before the price increase last year hoping that more people would do it to hurt them. Unfortunately not a lot of people cancelled their subscriptions even though everyone complained.
At least I realised that I can live without it (for almost a year now).

Yep - couch potatoes of the world unite.

My DSTV is totally off. I removed the PVR yesterday and put it away in the garage. I can spend that money on better things.

There are a great many ways to get pirated sport streams if you Google a little. As for getting sport legally in this country, DStv is the best there is, unfortunately.

LOCAL content (sport, news, yes, even soapies) are many reasons I can't cancel the DSTV premium with extraview.

Unfortunately it is what it is - my household would not survive without kyknet, I wouldn't survive without supersport. Streaming is not always the best option, and unfortunately, neither are there any viable alternatives for our needs.

I tried Ntv this month and not happy with it. I buffer on a 4meg line seems we get badly shaped on Int trafic. So Unless you are sure you have a business account then otherwise I dont see the point

You with AH?

many people on this forum use it without issue. Maybe get a proper ISP.

Buddy, I tried with AH, Axxess, Mweb and webafrica.
Sometimes it workes perfectly. and then after a hour or so it goes pearshaped, when the rugby is on you can almost know you will def have buffering happening due to the large amount of people tuning in. Offcourse NTV denies that there is buffering and says everything on their side is 100%.....

The only options really is to have DSTV Family and stream the rugby from some illegal site but the quality really sux on those sites.
