DSTv porn possibility backlash

Seems someone doesn't like their opinion discredited and gets a bit touchy. Yes, I read your whole post, don't assume because I don't agree with you that I never read it. Your interpretation is similar to another forumites interpretaion of Malema's kill statement. Sorry, some of us have brains so as to question and not blindly follow drivel spouted by someone who is trying to prove a point with bad quotations.

Let me help, highlight the porn phrase for me please as I have cleary stated , unlike you, that my perceptions of the passages are adultery AND idol worship and sacrifice.

Well, you are right. It is about adultery and idolatry. And you may be right about me – and maybe I am wrong in my interpretation of that quote. Ezekiel 23v14-18 in my view relates to a woman being lustfully inflamed to harlotry through/after viewing sketches on the wall – sketches quite possibly fitting into the definition of porn on dictionary.com:

por•nog•ra•phy (dictionary.com)
noun
obscene writings, drawings, photographs, or the like, esp. those having little or no artistic merit.
Origin:
1840–50; < Gk pornográph(os) writing about harlots (porno-, comb. form of pórnē harlot + -graphos -graph)

What people considered sexually inflammatory images in ancient Babylonian times and what is today considered a turn-on could quite likely be different (retro-porn and today’s porn does not appeal to the same audience necessarily). And Rogerwe is right, I should probably have used another version of the Bible – the Amplified Bible puts it better (but I’ve done enough Bible quoting).

My intention in commenting on this forum was to provide the quote that some people were looking for. If it doesn’t fit you, leave it then. I am amazed how in life, people can quote from the Koran with no backlash but, mention the Bible and people get angry. I wonder why?

Because people twist its words to say what they want and not actually what it says.
