Soooo. Get a discount to watch re runs of shows that you watch on DSTV or wait for the show to re run on DSTV. Tough choice. :D

I signed up for this promo this evening just to check out ShowMax. I can't believe how crap it is. The movies are trash, and most popular series are woefully incomplete. Cancelled immediately.

The only movies I watch are generally in theatres. I use DSTV to record the latest episodes of the few series I watch. Used to have Netflix until they decided they don't want international customers. Still use BBC iPlayer extensively. My concern is the value to the famly, and with ShowMax there is very little.

Regardless, how is a load of godawful straight-to-DVD films worth anyone's time, pirate or not? And I don't know what circumstances make out of date series good value for money.
