My decoder keeps putting me back on the cartoon network! started this after noon, keeps flashing a screen then brings up the info screen and switches me back every 5 seconds!

all their support numbers are busy!!!
ARGGH

Okay, messed around with my options and whatever, changed and reset some settings and it seems as if the channel switching has gone but ffs the info bar keeps appearing!

well, mine doesn't put me on the CN, but is showing the info display every couple of minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am getting very irritated! I was recording last night something and the stupid info display poped up 5 times .. now I have the flipin thing all over my recorded stuff!

these days watching DSTV is nothing less than frustration and irritation! Maybe I should just cancel it and that's it! I am so sick of it!

1. adverts sound volume is 5 times louder than the rest (every 15 minutes run for the remote)
2. stupid info display pops up every 5 minutes (run for remote again)
3. adverts are misplaced over movies/documentaries making you miss few minutes from whatever you are watching ... how "cool" that is!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Stupid OK thing sits on the bloody screen most of the time, have to run for the remote to bloody remove it!

I have not had a situation recently when I watched DSTV for more than 10-12 minutes without being annoyed with some siht! I don't see the point! I want to watch TV when I want to relax, not when I want to be fukcing irritated!

my info bar is appearing too, it is not your particular decoder, it is everyone, it is fukcing multichoice again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting flippin pixelization so often. Think it is my decoder - which was replaced, for the same reason, at the beginning of the year.

How many of you have had to sit through the Enzo Ferrari episode of Top Gear Extra, in full pixelization? GRRRRR!

nickste...dont lie...plz....its ur copied dvds that "pixalise" not ur decoder...

Safe

Ps how was ur weekend? lol yea

Check u buddy

Ja this info bar crap, they dont know what the problem is, whenever you call up you are told to bring the decoder in for testing, and when complaining on hellopeter they tell you to do a DSD Upgrade, well guess what, it didn't solve the problem and now the Upgrade button is greyed out!

I get frequent loss of signal if it rains just a little bit to hard in Cape Town. ne1 else experience this?

Rain fade is common... the usual fix is a bigger dish... 65cm or 90cm (if you have the 35cm - then you will get a lost signal when you fart near it) another remedy might be to shorten the cables from the LNB (if they are long, consider moving the dish/decoder location) ..

But I get no-signal in heavy rain on a 2mtr dish, so its the nature of the beast :-)

Have you got a remote blaster ? Maybe your neighbour is watching it and keeps changing back
