Hi there. I've read that u can use one cable from the disc and use a splitter for 2 cables at the decoder. I tried it and only get half of my channels. But my box office and recording work on the channels that play. Can anyone give me advice pls.

You need to have one of the newer LNB's that use (I think it's called) Unicable or SatCR, then you need to ensure the decoder you're using supports the newer LNB. I think only the HD PVR, explora and HD Decoder support it these days, I'm not too sure about the older PVR's

That's the way it will work on a single cable (non Satcr). If you want full functionality you need a twin or more Lnb or aSatcr Lnb

I have the HD PVR (pre-Explora) with single LNB and using a splitter. I get ALL channels but some channels cannot be viewed whilst channels on another orientation (i.e, horizontal or vertical) are recording. Sometimes recording fails when a channel on another orientation is being viewed.

Also noticed some channels pixelate a bit like National Geographic. But definitely can be done via splitter and single LNB (not sure if it will work on Explora). Make sure the cables are in firmly on both tuners.

Hi. Everything was working for the last month after the splitter was installed. But I moved my tv and had to do all the wiring over. Now evereverything is f..k.d .I stay in a flat so I can't change anything on the dics. They charge me R1350 to pull a extra cable.

Another thing that I picked up is, if I go to menu then information central and then signal status. Tuner 1 polarisation is on ver and tuner 2 is also on ver. Normally tuner 2 polarisation was on hor

Mine shows Tuner 1 horizontal and Tuner 2 vertical. Try resetting to factory settings but make a note of existing settings first. Double check the splitter cabling, remove and re-insert etc.

Hi desiganp
I removed all my cables and re-insert it. But I took cable 1 on the splitter and insert it in nr 2 on decoder and some with cable 2. Now it's working. Tuner 1 is hor and tuner 2 ver.
