DSTV PVR USB

I have a 2006 DSTV PVR deoder. It has a USB port. What is tht for. If I plug in a USB with say video or music or even photo's will I be able to view it through the PVR. Just curious. I ask here before I do it. I don't want to wreck the PVR

Its disabled by the software...

The features are there for the overseas markets where UEC sell the same hardware platform

FFS, future use my ass, the will never let anyone use this. The PVR in SA is almost 4 years old and they still claim its for future use.
