I've noticed that people who are on the smaller packages, when they use the remote to see the grid of channels, it shows them all the channels, as if they have the premium bouquet. This is quite annoying and stupid, as they only have a few channels that actually work. Sometimes one goes through tens of channels but then obviously it doesn't work. Is there any way to only see which channels are active with the grid?

Can't you save the channels to a "favourites" list? This probably needs the HD Pvr decoder

I also have those small decoders and it is possible to save as just the channels you want as your favorites. That way you can cycle through the ones you want immediately without ever seeing a blank screen again. I had saved around 10 channels as favs so I never go through the blank screen or end up on a channel im not interested in.

Thanks. How is this done?

The PVR has an option for "my channels" which then only lists the channels in your current bouquet. Not sure if the other decoders have it too. Somewhere in the menu.

IIRC, its done in the TV Guide screen. Go to the TV guide and click on edit/add favourite channels. After you've added your channels, press TV button on the remote and select favourites (instead of DSTV) so you only see those channels.

Cool, thanks. Will check later.
