DStv removing more channels

Just received a SMS from DStv that they will be combining Mnet City 115 & Vusu 116 into a brand new channel called ME. As far as I'm concerned this isn't good. Fox has just been taken away so those dumbbells are removing 2 more channels, with 115 basically being the main reason for being on Compact. As far as I'm concerned this is a cheapening tactic and won't improve anything for the viewers.

I sometimes get comedies off 116. I still record programs off 115 but this year especially has been bad quantity and quality wise. Even regulars like the three Chicago haven't been shown (101 is onto a 2nd season since last shown on 115). And to add to it I've noticed any new series starting on Compact tier tend to start on season 2 and upwards. This is just an extra push for me to downgrade.

DStv isn't satisfied destroying their 2 top tiers, they now looking to lose their Compact subscribers as well.

Cancel them like the rest of us did, they never listen so its the only way to signal your unhappiness.

It's only once they feel their numbers dwindling that they start to innovate, unfortunately.

Best is just to get rid of them, you'll love the money you save & you'll learn to consume media in so many other ways.
 
What is annoying is they didn't even bother putting Supernatural Season 15, they stopped at episode 13 last year already, Supernatural finished off last year.
Though looking at what Vuzu and City show is very similar, though a lot of the stuff I watch is on City.
 
My initial worry was that there wouldn't be enough room but Mnet City is inactive for 6 hours a day and Vuzu has a needless music offering from 3am to 7am, this could work.
