Hi guys,

I have six PVR's and not enough space in the conduit pipe for twin LNB cables. Is it possible to split a satCR feed 6 ways?

Currently no... In a few years, maybe.

Where are you based?

That's a shame... it would have made it a lot easier.

We are located in Pretoria.

Twin LNB is probably not really necessary for each pvr - it's a guesthouse setup and we will not be using the full DSTV package, I was just thinking in terms of future-proofing the installation.

If you are running the guesthouse package on them, you won't be allowed recording anyway... This means you should be okay with the single cable.

Would not a distribution amplifier help him?

Sounds like an HD in each room, running hospitality package (no recording)... He just needs a 6-way or 8-way (if their own decoders also need feeds) multiswitch. Then he can just use 2-way satellite splitters, with DC on 1 leg to the main LNB input on each decoder. All channels and EPG should work 100%, but with recording clashes... which does not matter as it won't be used.
