Dstv transmit wirelessly

any of those wireless ways sustains HD, if so how ? (ignoring interference for now)

Yes you can, you get a transmitter and receiver from Ellies, but they are horribly inconsistent had a pair.

Guys on the avforum use network cable to extend hdmi connections to projectors and stuff. I wonder if it'll pass through a router sufficiently.

I have tried at least a dozen different solution to get HD TV through two drops. I have dual Cat6 cables with HDMI extenders - they work fine for a single drop, but as soon as I extend from one end-point to the second, the audio drops out. I have 3 different brand-new Aavara extenders (HD over IP, over coax, and over Cat5e/6), every model from HDCabling, and several others. The only solution that works reliably is the HD Juicebox. On a mobile right now, so can't post more detail, but here's a link: http://www.justhdmi.co.uk/hdjuicebox/

Not cheap. But it works. HD over powerline using their own proprietary chipset. Landed in SA within 4 days of order from UK, for just under 700 quid incl shipping, for a TX and three RX units.
